2010 Ringneck Classic Volleyball Tournament

Host:   Hill City High School           

Date:   October 9, 2010

Times:   Tournament starting time is 8:30 a.m. 

Place:  Hill City High School Gym and Hill City Elementary School Gym

Teams:  Hill City, Atwood, Brewster, Natoma, LaCrosse, Ness City,

   Rexford-Golden Plains, Trego

Format:   We will run two pools.  Four teams will play in each pool.  Win/loss records will be kept from each pool.  The top two teams out of each pool will play a championship bracket tournament.  The second seed from Pool A will travel to the Elementary School gym to play the one seed from Pool B and the two seed from Pool B will travel to the High School gym to play the one seed from Pool A.

Advancing:  If there is a match record tie after pool play, the tie will be broken using the KSHSAA tie breaker procedure.

Warm-Up:  Warm-Up time will be as followed: 5-5-2 for everyone’s first match and

      4-4-2 from then on.

Award:  Team medals to the top two teams.

Lockers:  Locker rooms will be assigned to teams at both sites.  The locker rooms will be shared by multiple schools.  Please, take care of your property.

USD 281 will not be responsible.

Concessions:  Concessions will be provided.
