Golden Plains USD #316 is accepting applications for a head cook in Rexford for the 2023-2024 school year and a Para Educator in Selden.
Golden Plains Schools is seeking applicants for the head cook position at the middle/high school in Rexford. 
This position works from mid-August to mid-May, Monday through Friday when school is in session. Hours for this position are approximately 6:45 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. daily. 
Benefits include free breakfast and lunch while working, paid time off (13 days per year), and a paid single health and dental policy through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. Insurance is paid for all twelve months of the year. Compensation for this position is based upon experience.

The Elementary School in Selden is also accepting applications for a Paraeducator in Selden. Schedule is the same as the school schedule with breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, Easter, and Summer. Great opportunity for someone who loves children and is looking for a part-time school schedule.

Compensation based on experience. Full Time Employee Benefits Information--USD 316 pays a full, single health insurance plan. Employees receive 13 discretionary days per year.
Employer Information--Golden Plains USD #316 provides a quality education to approximately 170 students in northwest Kansas. Golden Plains operates two school buildings: Golden Plains Elementary (Pre-K through Grade 5) in Selden and Golden Plains Middle/High School (grades 6-12) in Rexford. Little Paws Day Care in Selden is also operated by the school district.
Golden Plains has a welcoming and accepting environment where students from diverse backgrounds find encouragement and belonging. We pride ourselves on having high academic standards for all students. Our committed and experienced staff is currently working with Kansas MTSS. We have full implementation of MTSS reading support and plan for implementation of both behavior social emotional (BSEL) and math over the next few years.
Golden Plains has a district wide 1:1 initiative. Our preschool-3rd grade students use iPads, and our 4th-12th grade students utilize Chromebooks. In addition to the required coursework, our district offers many elective opportunities and a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
